X-O Condoms 4 everybxdy
This project was approached by Elena Ruda, a fellow designer, and me for a Hackathon contest. We had two weeks to conceptualize and propose a brand and campaign, targeting non-binary people in 2045. Our challenge was to rethink this product to appeal to a more rebellious and nonconforming audience, often overlooked in this type of advertising. We created X-O because we believed that a gender-nonconforming person would feel represented by "X-O" rather than the traditional XX and XY chromosome scheme. Since everyone deserves representation, X-O also stands for "kiss and hug" in SMS, offering a retro-futuristic nod to this groundbreaking shift in written language.
